Wipe Cache Partition:
NOTE: If your phone is unresponsive, crashes, freezes, or runs out of storage inexplicably, you can try solving these issues by clearing the devices cache partition. This can have similar effects as a factory reset, without losing any of your personal data from the devices internal memory.
- First, turn off the phone
- Next, press and hold Volume Up and Power simultaneously
- At the Alcatel startup screen, release Power
- Once you see the Android System Recovery menu, release Volume Up too
- Navigate the Recovery menu using the volume buttons, and highlight Wipe cache partition
- Press Power to select the option
- After the cache is cleared, you will be prompted to Reboot system now
- With the reboot option highlighted, press Power to confirm and wait for the device to restart
NOTE: If clearing the cache partition didnt solve the problems, you can try factory resetting the phone instead. Follow this thread for instructions.
