Use iTunes to Sync iPhone Contacts With a Google Account:

NOTE: With iTunes installed on a computer with Internet access, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data with the Lava P7.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your PC using the Lightning cable
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Access the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  8. Once done, register the same Google account on the Lava P7 and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Transfer iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access iCloud on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  7. Once done, perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the file to “Google Contacts”
    • Connect the Lava P7 to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use the “Contacts” app to import its contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, you can also use third party apps to transfer iPhone contacts without a PC. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app
  3. Tap “Backup” and wait for the contacts to be backed up in a vCard
  4. Once done, tap “Email”
  5. Compose a new email with the vCard attached to it, and send it to your own address
  6. On the Lava P7, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use to transfer contacts without a computer is Send Anywhere. The app is available on both Android and iOS, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the app on the Lava P7
  3. Launch the application on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone
  5. Tap “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  6. Tap “Send” and choose a transfer method. Example: you can tap “Receive” on the Lava P7 and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan it with the P7’s camera to start the transfer
