Hi,
One of the things I find frustrating about the cell phone world is that the phones I want aren't available through the service providers I want to use. Is it possible to buy the phone I want and then activate and use it with the service provider that I want?
Phones I am interested in:
Huawei Media PadX1
Huawei P8Max
Huawei Ascend Mate7
ZTE Nubia
Google Nexus 6
Gionee Elife E8
Oppo R7 Plus
Vivo Xplay 3S
Service Providers I'm Interested In:
T Mobile
Simple Mobile
Go Smart
Boost
Cricket
Thanks.

Why not?
you are probably from the US (by the providers you are interested), choose your favorite provider first,
some use different frequency bands than others.
then you just have to look for "sim lock free" or "unlocked" phones at your electronics store or online.
make sure it is compatible with the provider you have chosen.
some provisers will offer you a discount if you buy from them and then sign a contract for a minimum period
(here in Austria 2 years), for free phones however you will have to pay the full price, so look around!
if in doubt the electronics store should be able to help you.
btw i just recently bought my second "free" phone (Samsung I9060I Grand Neo plus)...
regards
