So I have verizon for my flip phone and my wife's Samsung smart phone. Don't judge me by my "dumb phone" all I need it for is to make and receive calls. our plan is a 3GB unlimited text and maybe 500 minutes combined.. I'm fine with the service I have now here is the question. My teenage son wants a smart phone as well now. Ok but I don't want to pay a fort ne for the extra data and time. So I looked into a tracphone idea. I can limit his data talk and time and only pay and extra $15.00 a month he's made it pretty easy choice for me "I think" he wants an older Iphone a 5s. saw that you can get a bring your own Sim kit from Trac[hone for a $1.00 and then get the $15.00 a month card on top of that and use it on an apple phone. Great here is the big question I looked on Amazon and Ebay and there are tons of choices for the phone. I'm thinking I need a GSM unlocked phone to make this work? was looking at a 32GB phone for around $250.00 am I looking at the right thing? point me in the right direction please....
