Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the BLU Life Max to your computer via USB
  2. Turn “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media device (MTP)” ON at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate and copy the desired audio files on the PC storage
  5. Paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” and / or “Alarms” folder(s)
  6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Access “Settings”
  3. Scroll to “Device”’
  4. Tap “Sound & Notification” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm
  6. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Tap “Contacts” on the home screen
  2. Tap and hold the contact you want to set a ringtone to
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK”
