So, my wife has an iPhone 5 and our carrier is AT&T. I just purchased a brand new 6s for her from Apple, to be delivered tomorrow. I didnt even think to ask about compatibility or if I needed an unlocked phone, or if a swap is possible.

I hear so much about locked and unlocked and a phone specific to a specific carrier. Can this just be a simple swap? The new phone shows up and I swap cards from her 5 to her 6 and we're good to go?
