Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with your Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- In the drop-down menu, select Google Contacts
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to a XOLO device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with your Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the XOLO to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party apps to share your iPhone contacts. My Contacts Backup is a third-party application for iOS which can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email to compose an email containing the attached vCard
- Send the email and vCard to your own address
- Switch to the XOLO device and open the email
- Download the attached vCard and import it using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party application you can use for transferring contacts, and other file types over a peer-2-peer connection without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the XOLO Era 2X
- Launch the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, choose the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
