Back Up App Data:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data to your Google account
  5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account

Back Up and Restore Contacts:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
  3. Select the desired account type and tap the account you want to use for contact syncing
  4. Tick the “Contacts” check box
  5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google account.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Plum Gator 3 to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
  5. Copy and paste the media files in the desired backup location on the computer
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone form the USB port

Restore Media files From a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Plum Gator 3 to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or form the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
  5. Copy and paste the media file backups on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories they originate from
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
