Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the BLU device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and access “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. After the sync is done, switch to the BLU device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the BLU Grand XL to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to your phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached, and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android device and open the email
  6. Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the BLU Grand XL
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
