Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Verykool Spear.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the Verykool device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Verykool Spear to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Launch the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
- Once the vCard is done, tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on both iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the phones, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
