Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the smartphone to the PC via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications directories
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Go to Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert
- Tap OK to confirm
