Share iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data including contacts with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Access Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account then click Apply
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the BLU device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts
- Select the contact you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contact using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup
- Once the backup is done, tap Email
- Write a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Open the email on the BLU device and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer. The app is available on Android and iOS and uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select the desired transfer method
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
