Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once the sync is complete, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard file to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is a third party app for iOS which can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the vCard backup file is attached and send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a PC.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
