Back Up & Restore App Data:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Personal
- Tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data to back up app data, settings, and passwords to your Google account
- Enable Automatic restore to allow app data to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or signing in with your Google backup account
Back Up and Restore Contacts:
- Open Settings
- Go to Accounts
- Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact syncing
- If necessary, enable Contacts
- Tap Menu > Sync Now
NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to your computer via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Verykool device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups on the computer
- Copy and transfer the backup file on the phone storage, preferably in the Media folder
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
