Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure”
  6. Select an existing account and click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Verykool Cosmo and, if necessary, sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contact to share
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  7. Once the vCard has been downloaded perform one of the following:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook using “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import its contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the vCard is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share your contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
