Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data, including contacts, with the BLU device.
- Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts form the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the BLU device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the PC
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook using Google Contacts or:
- Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Launch the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup
- After the backup is done, tap Email
- Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the attachment and import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.
- Open the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, choose a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
