Back Up & Restore App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Personal”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, passwords, and settings to your backup account
  5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings and passwords to be automatically restored when signing in with the backup account

Back Up and Restore Contacts:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
  3. Select the account you want to use for contact syncing
  4. Check the “Contacts” box if necessary
  5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with the backup account

Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired media files on the phone
  4. Copy and paste the files in the desired backup location on the PC
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the BLU device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
  5. Transfer the files back to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and disconnect the phone from the USB port
