Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Access Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and register the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the BLU C5
Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in to the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings
- Click Export vCard
- Once the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to the phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps without requiring computer access. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to the phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform without needing computer access.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
- Launch the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select the desired transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer
