Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device form the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings and scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contacts
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Go to Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings and scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone and select the desired notification sound
- Press OK to confirm
