Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the following:
- Open the Internet browser on the PC and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Once done, tap Email
- Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for sharing your iPhone contacts. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring computer access.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
