Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync your account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the PC
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, log in with the same account on the Android device
- Set the account to sync contacts with the phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on iCloud you can access the service on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the PC
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Wait for the vCard to be downloaded and perform one of the following:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet but you can also share your contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your contacts
- Once done, tap Email
- Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Install the same app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Finally select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
