Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. After the transfer is done, log in with the same account on the Android phone and set the account to sync contacts with the device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can export them in a vCard file on a computer with Internet access. Then you can import the vCard’s contents to your Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard is downloaded, follow one of these steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import them to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share your iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. After the file is done, send it to your own email address as an attachment
  4. Switch to the Android device and open the email
  5. Download the vCard and import it to your Android’s phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app on Android and iOS you can use for contact transfer. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer
