Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Locate the audio files on the computer
  5. Copy and paste the desired audio files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  4. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the device’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification
  5. Press “OK”
