Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and/or notifications folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Press OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone and select the desired notification alert sound
- Press OK to confirm
