Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Tap Sound & Notification under Device
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Go to Device and tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap OK
