Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- After the sync completes, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of these steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook using Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your contacts
- Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app on Android and iOS which can be used to share your iPhone contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
