Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access iCloud on a computer with Internet access and export your contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Launch the Internet browser on the PC
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of these steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with access to the Internet, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android phone
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired iPhone contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
