Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the PC and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup, available on iOS. The app can share contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app
- Create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
- Install the app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the transfer
