Share iPhone Contacts using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If y our iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard and follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can share contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Then, compose an email and attach the vCard
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts without computer access.
- Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
- Install the app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap send > Contacts
- Select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts
