Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and sign in with your Google account
  5. Click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on an Android phone.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard” and follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access, but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Write an email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app can transfer contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring a computer with Internet access.

  1. Install the app on the Android phone from the Play Store
  2. Go to the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
  3. Launch the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process
