Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the PC
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for use on the Android phone.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once done, follow one of these steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the vCard to your own address and switch to the Android device
  5. Launch the email and download the vCard
  6. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android phone
  3. Launch the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process
