Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can share your iPhone contacts with your Google account using iTunes on a computer with Internet access.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an account
- Click Apply to start the sync then switch to the Android phone
- Sign in with the same account used in iTunes and allow it to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the process completes, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and use Google Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts without needing a computer using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup for iOS, which can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use to share contacts is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app can share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring access to a computer.
- Install the app on both phones via the Play Store and App Store
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select the desired transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
