Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access and sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, launch iTunes and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once the transfer completes, sign in with the same account on the Android device and allow the account to sync contacts with the phone

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once done, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard using the Contacts app

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-part yapp you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Write an email ensuring the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android phone and open the email
  6. Download the vCard and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install the app on both phones from the Play Store and App Store
  2. Launch the app on both devices
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
