Share iPhone Contacts using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then sync the account data with the Android device.
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and computer
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts via third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on both devices from the App Store
- Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address and switch to the Android device
- On the phone, open the Contacts app and import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: This is another third-party app for Android and iOS you can use to share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
