Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet to sync your contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data with the Android phone.
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Launch Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and attach the vCard
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- Switch to the Android phone and open the email
- Download the vCard and use the Contacts app to import it
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app for Android and iOS you can use to share contacts is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share content cross-platform without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on both devices from their respective app stores
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and then choose a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the transfer
