Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

  1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
  2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left
  3. Open “Settings” and go to “Display”
  4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep”
  5. Select a lower timeout value

Enable Battery Optimization:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Open “Settings” and access “Battery”
  3. Tap “Battery optimization”
  4. Select an app to optimize
  5. Optionally, you can tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

  1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
  2. Tap the “GPS (location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
  3. To turn off Wi-Fi, tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and set the switch OFF
  4. Open “Settings” and go to “Network & Internet” for more options
  5. Tap “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and disable the feature

Remove Third-Party Apps:

NOTE: Some third-party apps can perform background processes regularly, and this can affect the device’s battery life. You can disable or remove unused third-party aps to potentially improve battery life.

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Go to “Apps & Notifications”
  4. Switch to “See all apps” if needed
  5. Select the desired app
  6. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

Keep the OS Up To Date:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Go to “System” and tap “System updates”
  4. Tap “Check for update”
  5. If available, follow the prompts to download and install the updates
