Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media File MTP” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound” > “Phone Ringtone”
  3. Select the desired ringtone

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Wireless alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
