Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and computer
- On the phone, enable Media File at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC and copy the desired files
- Paste the files to the phone storage, namely in the Ringtones and / or Notifications folders
- Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound > Phone ringtone
- Select the ringtone you want to assign
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Save
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch Settings
- Access Sound
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the notification ringtone you want to use for the device
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings and access Wireless alerts
- Enable or disable Allow alerts Extreme threats AMBER alerts and Severe threats
