It's expensive (about twice the price of a 7210 on Ebay) and there is no Bluetooth support, screen is not TFT and only 4-channel polyphony. I'm waiting for Nokia to bring out a better model with those 3 things before moving on from my 7210. The 7250 is essentially just a 7210 with a camera stuck in the back (afterthought) and more RAM (which is actually very good as its a lot more than similar phones).

First of all the design sucks - the people in nokia tried real hard to make this phone appeal to youngsters... don't they realises simplicity rules.... the keypad is too narrow. And it's too light. And the interface is not much different from any other models... get the 7650 or 3650 if you want something different. for picture taking purposes... and pda features. Better. You can save messages. The fun thing is you can customise how you want these phones to look like... you upgrade to have "skins" or "desktop themes"....

3650's cheaper, has more feature and more flexible bluetooth, it's the better option!

The 3650 has the MOST crap keypad of any phone, you would think Nokia would invest in a decent design. It completely throws fast texting out the window and throws anyone who has used a phone before - it's not natural.
Yes, its got good features but the keypad lets it down more than you'd think at first.
If you want a decent smartphone based on Nokia's Symbian/Series 60 design, wait for the 6600 (coming out later this year).

Not really
Better take the 7650 or something else like this
- 06-19-2003, 02:57 AM #29
I had a look at it in Carphone Warehouse yesterday, its also noticeably fatter than the 7210 (about 2-3mm) and costs about twice the price (offline). If you can manage the size of the 7650, it's the ideal phone (beautiful TFT, decent polyphonic capabilities, good, FAST camera <- unlike Sony Ericssons, good customization).

Memory upgrade for what? The 3650 or 7650? 7650 would make more sense. The 3650 can be upgraded with MMC cards which can be up to 128mb in size (that's the limitation of MMC not the phone). Nokia really should have considered upgrading the MMC slots to SD (secure digital) on their latest phones because they can take up to 1Gb, are faster, lower power consumption and have prototypes of 16Gb coming in!
