    Hi,

Wondering what do people think the best sounding phone people have come across (MIDI ringtone). I would think I have to say excluding a situation when a phone is using MP3 as a ringtone.

What I would like to know is -

    Quality
    Clarity
    Loudness
    etc

Most Samsung phones I've heard beat the competition in sound quality and range.

i think most people say that samsung have better tones, and I agree. new samsung product are using mmf format files that support 40chl poly, and the original midi files max 32chl, plus mmf files have clearrer sound and smaller size, we can say that mmf is filtered midi files.
sometimes what you heard is not the best from each products, so you have to compare it with the same files in different products at the same time.
that's my oppinions, the rest is back to your taste of music.

yeah i agree with boosted.. the s105 can only have 16 chords it is really loud on some ringtones but the quality just cant do it.. but ne other samsung phones with support for 40 or more chords then they are pretty good.. i think the nextels and the lg is pretty good..
