I am a total newbie here. Been reading up on prepaid plans, Page Plus seems like a good fit for me. Questions: I have a Nextel plan now with two i60c phones--VERY durable. Can I/how do I unlock these phones to use with Page Plus? What about SIM cards, etc. Will someone at Page Plus be able to help me? Thanks for any advice.

living simply,
PagePlus works with CDMA phones and uses Verizon's cell service. This means a CDMA phone from Verizon, Sprint and Alltel can be used with Pageplus. Nextel/Boost use iDEN with a SIM card. The Nextel phone will not work on PagePlus.

are you sure?
I thought I read if a phone ended with "C" then it meant it was a CDMA phone. Are you sure I definitely can't unlock the phone?
Also, found out I'm locked in my agreement until mid-May.

As a general rule the c after the number does neam CDMA EXCEPT for Nextel whch are all iDEN phones. If the phoneis Motorola and its designation starts with an "i" it is an iDEN phone.

Thanks for the clarification--I appreciate it. Will keep a lookout for phone deals for purchase for when I can switch in May.
