My 12 yr old has had Kajeet for a few years and we've really loved it. I never planned on getting him a cell phone at such a young age, but we were selected to test out Kajeet before they was open to the public. I've loved the parental controls!

It's prepaid. No contracts at all. They have monthly plans you can sign up for though. The cheapest is the $4.99 a month "backpack" or emergency phone. They even have an unlimited talk/text plan!

Kajeet seems like great deal. Their $19.99 /mo unlimited text + 150 voice min plan is very impressive . I like the parental control offerings . I would be nice to see them add a text messaging monitoring option .

Nice service for kids. It ha been observed that now a days kids are giving more attention towards adult activities other then kids activities. Like using internet accessing email accounts etc. I don't say that its not good but all these activities should be done under proper parental control, so that a safe environment should be provided to kids.
