unlock earthlink 650

I picked up an earthlink Palm Treo 650 (CDMA).. does anyone know where I can unlock it in Canada? I want to put it on a Bell Mobility plan.

does canada use cdma service? i thought everywhere but the usa used gsm, but i could be very wrong.

Yup, Bell is certainly CDMA.. We have both. I'm covered in that respect, I just need to find out how to get/use the esn, or whatever I need to do in order to allow it to be activated by Bell. I have talked to Bell and it is OK with them as long as I have all the appropriate numbers.. Whatever they might be.

The earthlink treo 650 operates on cdma which is available in u.s. and canada and china. My isp have tdma and gsm. so it was a learning experience. good luck on your quest
