Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the HTC One A9 to your PC via USB
- Swipe the notification bar down and make sure the phones connection is set to Media device (MTP)
- On the computer, open an Explorer window and locate the desired audio files
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Media > Ringtones / Notifications directories
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Change the Phones Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Swipe to and tap Personalize
- Tap Ringtone
- Select a ringtone and tap Apply to set it
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts store on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch People
- Select the desired contact and tap Ringtone
- Choose the desired ringtone and tap Apply to confirm
Change the Phones Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Tap Sound & notifications
- Tap Notification sound
- Swipe to, and choose the audio file you want to use as a notification sound
- Tap Apply
