Where can I buy the HTC TyTN II P4550?

A friend of mine is going next week to Miami and I would like to know where he can buy the cell phone HTC TyTN II P4550. I enter in the HTC's web page and it seems that model is not sold in US. Maybe the same model in Europe is known in US by another name. Can it happen?
Do you know if the cell phones bought in US are free for another companies in another country, example, in Argentina?
