News: HTC Qilin for China

HTC Qilin is one of China Mobile’s first Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones that comes equipped with features such as GSM and TD-SCDMA. The HTC Qilin will be sold under HTC's Dopod brand as the T8388 which is similar to that of the Touch Pro2 design.

The HTC Qilin is all touchscreen so therefore it does not come equipped with a QWERTY keyboard but does include the following specs and features.

* 3.6 inch touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels
* Wi-Fi
* GPS
* CMMB mobile TV
* 5MP camera with autofocus
* VGA front camera
* 600MHz TI OMAP 3430 processor
* 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM

The handset will be launched sometime in the 4th quarter as a flagship phone.
