News: Record sales for the Sprint HTC EVO 4G

Although the exact numbers have not been given, Sprint has announced that their HTC EVO 4G has sold three times more than the Samsung Instinct and the Palm Pre phones combined over a three day period from the first launch date.

With the sales so high of the HTC EVO 4G, there was a shortage of the phone, but only temporarily and Sprint and HTC are making sure that the same shortage problem that occurred with the Verizon Droid Incredible doesn't happen. The HTC EVO 4G is the first WiMAX Android phone and is considered possibly Sprint's best smartphone.

Sprint customers can purchase the EVO 4G for $199 with a new 2-yr contract.
