Call Forwarding & Managing the Call Log
Forward All Calls (Unconditional):
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Access "Settings" and tap "Call"
- Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
- Enter the number you want to forward calls to and tap "Enable"
Forward Some Calls (Conditional Forwarding):
- Open the apps drawer from the home screen
- Go to "Settings" and tap "Call" > "Call forwarding"
- Choose to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
- Type in the phone number you want to forward calls to and tap "Update"
Cancel Call Forwarding:
- Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
- Access "Call" and tap "Call Forwarding"
- Tap "Always forward"
- Tap "Disable"
Viewing and Clearing the Call Log:
- To view the call log tap the "Phone" icon
- Swipe to the "Call History" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "Remove call history"
- Press "Menu" again and tap "Select all"
- Tap "Delete" and then press "OK" to confirm
Blocking Calls
Block Calls from a Phone Number:
- Tap "Apps" while you view the home screen
- Go to "Contacts" and press "Menu"
- Tap "Manage contacts" > "Blocked contacts"
- Tap the "Add" icon and perform one of the following:
- To block a phone number from the phonebook:
- Mark the check box associated with the contact / log entry you wish to block
- Tap "Save"
- To copy the contact information to a different account before blocking the contact, tap "OK"
- To block a phone number:
- Enter the phone number you want to block
- Tap "OK" to confirm
- To block a phone number from the phonebook:
Unblocking a Number:
- Open the apps drawer and launch "Contacts"
- Press "Menu"
- Tap "Manage Contacts" > "Blocked contacts"
- Tap the "Menu" icon and then "Remove block contacts"
- Mark the contact you wish to unblock and tap "Delete"
Blocking Messages
To Block a Message / Spam:
- Access the "Messages" application
- Tap and hold the message thread containing the number you want to block
- At the "Message options" pop-up, tap "Block Contact"
Unblocking Messages:
- Open the "Messages" application and tap "Menu"
- Tap "Block list"
- Press "Menu" and tap "Unblock contacts"
