Is this possible? Unfortunately, my HTC phone died yesterday (i.e. it will never turn on again, it's broken, permanently dead). Now, I did back it up yesterday, so I have a full backup's worth of files. The problem is that I've switched phones since, and so I'm now using a Samsung Galaxy Core LTE. Basically, is there any way at all I can either load the backup onto my new phone, or at least make some of the files readable on my computer, so I could manually transfer some of the data? I really just need to get my contacts out of it, and preferably my text messages too, if possible. Is there perhaps a program that can open the backup files in a readable manner?

    Thanks in advance!

Some of the game and software files might have cloud save backup. Other than that, there wont be any issue to copy your audio, video and picture files.
