Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the HTC U Play to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications folder(s)
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Go to Settings
- Access Personalize and tap Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Apply to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch People
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap Apply
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to and tap Sounds & Notifications
- Tap Notification sound
- Select the desired notification alert and tap Apply
